CA>TW> After that you have to pay per year fro a subscription.

CA>Last time I checked the cost to gain access to their 'other'
CA>software was $99 per year.

I was only adressing hte FACT that they give you plenty of time, 6 to
12 months(I don't recall) of "FREE time" to load up your Hard Drive.

It is still unclear to me IF the standard FREE Linux applications will
run under Linspire though.

By the way here are two "Opinions" about linux. One from a Full Linux
GEEK prospective and the other from a Pure Novice Lunix lookie Loo
prospective.
I found nothing unexpected in either opinion and it seems to Prove that
Robertson is on the Right track and is on target for breaking Linux
into the mainstream.
Something I have been thinking was Needed for for many years.

*****
I found Linspire(Lindows) 4.5 to be a mixed bag fro experienced users.
It installs easily BUT beyond the basic install it takes a lot of wrok
to get everything else installed and configured the way "I WANTED IT".

******
Linspire(Lindows) has made soem teriffic progress since it's debut. It
stands asac a good example of what's really possable for Linux on the
decktop. We recimmend it for users or businesses that want an
EASY-TO-USE desktop OS that is comfrotable for complete Nubies to Linux.
