Odinn Sorensen to Gary Chambers (Orig: 16:40, Mon, Dec 12, 1994): Hi Odinn! GC> Why, apparently, are the resultant .EXE files created by Borland GC> C++ for OS/2 1.5 so much larger than their CSet/2 counterparts? OS> Use these options with TLINK: "-B:0x10000 -Oc -v-". Well, I gave it a try (again using V1.5) and had no luck. Same size as without those options. I compiled it manually, as well as with BCC. The Tools & Utilities Guide states, "The /B option specifies...Using this option makes applications smaller on disk, and improves both load-time and run-time performance, since the operating system no longer has to apply internal fixups."
