is it really necessary to have frontdoor in front of a bbs used for telnet
access, these days? i know that he/they weren't specifically asking about
using native windows frontdoor for telnet access but the question still
remains...

there is also the possibility, as is/was done with some bbs systems, to run
frontdoor behind a bbs and use a special login that exited the bbs and
loaded frontdoor... i've never operated frontdoor like this but i know that
several systems did this...

also, what, specifically is the reasoning why frontdoor can't load a native
win32 bbs? i'm curious, to say the least...
