As a single, standalone system like DB? No.

But what you CAN do is set up a tosser, such as Fastecho (which is still
registerable) or Squish (free), and set up a dedicated mail system.

I have done so for the short times I was not actively using a BBS using
Squish and Internet Rex.

It's not difficult to do but it -is- easy to make a mistake. But you live
and learn. I've blown up my system several times learning but it's okay. :D
