 I clipped some out of those reviews for brevity. But The GEEK covered
 the VERY Bare Bones Install and that even most of the things he needed
 to do tweeking was NOT on the Release CD but had to be Downloaded from
 their Web site. BUT it was basicly avaialble.
I find that not unexpected concidering the market he apparently wants to
address. BUT it would put a kink in things for the more computer aware
that wants to tune up the system a bit.
BUT they then have any number of LINUX releases avaialble for them to
play with and they should pass on Linspire.

On the novice review it was actualy someones Mother that did the install
while he observed. She was only casualy fimilar with computers having
done some wrodprocessing with MS word. IT went smoothly and without a
hitch. The differences between MS Word and Open Office did take a
short time for her to get used to.

Overall though I think some amount of sucess for his project WILL be
good for Computering overall. Not that MS wil lpay much attention but
that it might "Inspire" the other distributions to
"De-Geek" an edition
for the Novice Market.
