Communion wine was allowed during prohibition.  Although, many
fundamentalist denominations -- which oppose popular wisdom and
science for the sake of Bible teaching -- choose to use grape
juice instead of wine.  Some think that drinking is a sin even
though the Bible never says so, even though Jesus even directed
Christians to drink wine.
