Hello Dale!
Replying to a message of Dale Shipp to Ben Hamilton:
DS> Is there any reason that I should not have Vmodem running all the
DS> time? I.e. cause it to start when boot up happens? Does it take
DS> any resources if it is not doing anything?
Vmodem will not start without a tcpip connection running. However, once it
is started, it will stay up when the connection goes down. You will never
know it is there because it uses no (very little) cpu time.
