I understand your concerns, but there are ways around this.  I
opened a separate checking account just to become "verified" then
use a credit card to pay.  They don't like it, and try to get me to
use the bank account, but it is no problem making purchases w/ a
credit card.  Paypal is convenient, I don't use it a lot, but when
the opportunity arises, it is great.
