I don't think it's possible because that's just not the way footnotes
are done.  The footnote for an already-cited reference may simply be
"ibid." (in the same place) if it's the same place as that preceding
it or "op. cit." (already cited) with an abbreviated reference if it
refers to something cited earlier.
