subject: Address Offset

From: fred.holmes@mix.cpcug.org (FRED HOLMES)
When editing a file in hex/binary mode:
    E -b -h
can one display the address/offset, either in the "wasted"
columns in the main editing area, or as a single value (for the
cursor location) on the status line? Has anyone worked this out?
It would be nice to have a display that is similar to that which
LIST.COM provides in the "hex" viewing mode.
Often I want to patch a file, and I'm given an address/offset
value, and a patch (change to) value. I'd like a way of getting
to the address/offset quickly and efficiently, and knowing I'm
really there when I get there.
I need this for TSE Pro 2.5. Haven't started using a 32 bit OS
yet.
