WS>... So, I carefully dismantled the unit, found the center conductor

Nicely done, Will! The best tip of the month! We need more reports of
fixes -- successful, as yours was, as well as those which didn't, er,
um, seem to quite work out as originally intended.
WS>I am very careful with my radio, and don't remember putting any
WS>stress on the BNC connector, but obviously I did somehow.
Know exactly whatcha mean there; ya don't hafta employ the ducky for
spitball power, or even use it to wedge open doors during heists,
heh-heh. Its always "working" back-and-forth and around and around on
the connector.
Hope all is well with you and CARMA; heads up and stay safe!
Best, Wm. of Vestments
