On 08/29/15, Aaron Thomas said the following... AT> I'm looking to solve these minor Mystic issues: I can help with a few. I might be able to help with all of them, except it's late and I'm tired. =) So I'll do what I can with what I remember. AT> 4) Does anyone have their message reader prompt set up to take #s for AT> message jumping? I mean, so a user can just type 60 and it jumps to AT> message number 60 without having to first press letter J for Jump? If AT> so, please hook me up. That is one feature I miss from Renegade. I believe this works at any time when reading if you have lightbar off for messages. I could be wrong, and don't think I've used it often. AT> 7) I want to run LORD on my BBS, but I don't know how the AT> dropfile system works with Mystic. This is my imagination at work, AT> let me know if I'm right or wrong: Yeah, each dropfile(s) is created in Mystic's own numbered temp directory. So you'd set LORD to look in x:\mystic\temp1 for node 1, \temp2, etc. Can't remember what \temp0 is, I believe that's for local node. AT> I have 10 nodes available at the moment. Can all 10 play lord at the AT> same time? Will Mystic create more temp directories as needed? Yep! As long as you have the command line in Mystic setup correctly. If I remember right, mine is c:\doors\lord\start.bat %3. Mystic will parse the MCI code correctly and create the necessary temp directory to accomodate LORD or any door game as long as the game is set to look in a temp directory. --- Mystic BBS v1.10 (Windows)* Origin: http://www.throwbackbbs.com -\- meriden, ct -\- (1:142/799) SEEN-BY: 19/33 34/999 90/1 116/18 120/331 123/500 128/187 135/364 140/1 SEEN-BY: 218/700 226/0 160 230/150 240/1120 249/303 250/1 261/38 100 266/404 SEEN-BY: 267/155 280/1027 282/1031 1056 292/854 907 908 320/119 219 340/400 SEEN-BY: 393/68 396/45 633/267 280 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 801/161 @PATH: 142/799 322/759 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
