You have 2 fish tanks, one is at 50F and the other is at 80F

If I release some water at 70F into the first tank near the bottom and I
release some water at 100F into the second tank, does it rise faster in one
than in the other? No, the temp difference is the same and the difference
in density is the same (in fact it may be greater in the cooler tank.

The warmer tank has a higher energy level.
