Did you implement the trick with the dummy translation table with this in the
header:

0               ; ID number
0               ; version number
;
2 4             ; level number
;
UTF-8           ; from set
UTF_8           ; to set


Or the translation table to convet from CP850 to UTF-8:

4                 ; ID number
1                 ; version number
;
2 4               ; level number
;
CP850             ; from set
UTF-8             ; to set


Note the numbers "2 4" for the level number. The "2" is the level of the
translation table, the "4" is the number to be displayed in de CHRS: kludge.

So all the tables that translate /into/ UTF-8 should have the two numbers "2 4"
for the level.
