I seem to remember there being something funky about USR modems
connecting with H16 capable modems...
Here's the problem.....
Anytime my uplink calls my main node and connects with my USR 336
we have MAJOR connect problems...CRC errors out the wahzoo and
normally an incomplete file tranfer.  but on the other hand when
I poll him with my other node that normally does poll events
which is a Motorola 28.8 there seems to be little if any
problems.  I'm not real sure what his modem type is off hand but
I DO know he has the "H16" flag in his nodelist listing.
If my memory serves me right isn't there a seperate command to
change something in my init before connecting with those types of
modems.  It's been too many years since I've even thought about
that stuff since I never had such a problem.
