subject: Hi again

-> Californians have several choices in how to meet this requirement.
-> We can enroll the child in a public or private school of their
-> choice. If we do not choose either of those, there are 3 other
-> choices. We may homeschool under the direct supervision of a
-> California credentialed teacher or tutor. (I don't believe there is
-> a set number of hours to qualify, but I may be wrong homeschooler
-> may register as a private school. One is supposed to h 5 enrolled
-> students at this private school, but friends tell me t ever checks.
-> Another choice is to enroll in a public or private s Independent
-> Study Program (ISP).
I was curious what other states required. Pa is pretty homeschool
friendly if you can get your local school boards to understand the PA
homeschooling law. We are only required a high school diploma to teach
our children. Be evaluated at the end of year and submit the evaluation
report and portfolio to our local superintendent.
Peace,
Cheryl
