I think this overheating myth is just that. I have a sportster 28.8 that's
been running non-stop for several months, and it's cool to the touch. I've
run modem banks on Sportster 14.4s for over a year with no heat build-up
related problems.

Theoretically, the USR Sportster may suffer from overheating, but in
practice, I have yet to see it.
