Indeed, as the rest of the world industrializes the former third world's
birthrates will fall below replacement like in a lot of the first and
second world.  In a thousand years mankind will be numbered in the hundreds
of millions and the highest fertility rates will be on colonized planets
around other stars.  The Earth will be essentially a manicured park.
