Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not overly impressed. It took me 
ages to figure out how to load a file in for editing.

Another of these wordstar-type key sequences. I've just about 
done everything to avoid using these kind of sequences, as they 
seem difficult to learn.

The reason why I like Qedit, is because there is a keyboard Macro 
available that lets you emulate Wordperfect 5.1 function keys. As 
this is what I primarily use on a day-to day basis for the FAX's & 
Memos I send, I'd hate to change over & learn another set of keys.
But I'll keep playing with Emacs - perhaps I may like it one day.

 PE> Remember that one of them lets you edit 16 meg files!  BFN.

And so can the semware editor, but then again, it's not free, 
unlike Emacs.
