 And there you have the real reason for the lower poll numbers.

The Dems think they're going to pick up votes because of those low poll
numbers, but in reality the Reps that are tired of a half-hearted effort,
whether real or just percieved (and honestly, I think the perception is
only half-accurate), will never pull a Dem lever, as they know that's true
suicide
