You know, we should have made one change. These are cameras paid for by the
public, they are recording events on public property that involve the
public. At the very least the information they record should be available
to the public not just to law enforcement.

That would do two things, it would make the cameras a lot more useful and
it would help the public make sure public employees and law enforcement
were doing their jobs instead of parking and sleeping in their cars or
standing around spying on people.
