I hope you enjoy it!  A lot of people ask to be a Beta tester for modems not 
realizing that a lot of testing has to be done over long distance lines.  It 
easily costs me $20-50 per rom revision to test the features in a rom change.

Sounds like fun.  You may want to obtain the industry standard files for 
testing transfer speeds.  I think I still have them here.  Most are 1 and 2 
MB files of various types. Only by using standard files do you get an idea 
how modems can compare.
