   Even so, I haven't managed to get the slightest life sign from any outgoing
session no matter how I try.

   Any suggestion on how to at least get an error message or something would be
nice.

   I appreciate that the program is 12 years old (very foreseeing of the
author) and my attempts to reach him via email has bounced better than my
outgoing IPv6 calls.

   What a pity. If it had worked bidirectionally all would be great. But the
source code is such a mess I can't figure out how to correct it. :(
