MD> Does anyone know how IBM planned for people to write PM based games for MD>OS/2? This is not a complaint, but a serious question. I am finding OS/2 MD>to be extremely difficult and unweildy to work with as far as sprite based MD>graphics are concerned, although I now know nothing about DIVE. Dive V2 is covered on the DEVCON CD, I just got the latest one (free from IBM at COMDEX - yay!) and it has the DIVE toolkit on it. If you are interested in doing sprite work with DIVE V1, check out DLIB06.ZIP as I seem to remember that it had some sprite handling built in. Doing serious gaming work with PM is pretty senseless, it just isn't fast enough. Dive makes you fiddle with palettes and stuff, but you will not get faster video anywhere, even under DOS. I'm currently working on a 3D shootem up for OS/2 using DIVE V1. Rob. ___ X SLMR 2.1a X All wiyht. Rho sritched mg kegtops awound? --- Maximus/2 2.01wb* Origin: The Idle Task...
