True. I'm interested enough in this issue now that I will be taking notes

and observing the next lemon delicious that gets cooked. I may even have

a go myself ;-)

I made an idle comment to Alison one day that a man judges his

wife/partner in comparison to his mother. From that day on she seems to

have made a conscious effort to do things like the lemon delicious at

least as well as my mother. A visit to my folks is a potential minefield,

where I can detonate an anti-personnel mine simply by complementing a

mother-cooked meal too enthusiastically.
