I don't think I would see this as a trend. One is an action by the Federal
Government. The second action is being done by the University of Colorado.
They could have just sent in large numbers of cops and arrested EVERYONE
there for trespassing etc. In the past local police and colleges have often
used undercover agents for such actions. Nothing new here except they seem
to have given a lot of notice of what they would do, imo. If you were to
look real closely I expect you could find similar actions in a lot of
democratic countries. City of London traffic monitoring for example.
Back to your original post - I wonder if any of the NSL's would have been
turned down by the court ? I would prefer they go before a court for the
information.
