PE>> For some reason I got a zmodem error when polling Dave this
PE>> morning. I am repolling for mail. BFN.

AM> Paul, unless I am missing something, what's the big deal
 AM> about a zmodem error?

AM> Zmodem is an error correcting protocol. Whenever the
AM> receiving PC checks the packet and compares it to the sent
AM> CRC, it either allows it or sends a nak, telling the sender
 AM> which block to resend.

I don't have any further information in my log except for Zmodem error. I
presume the number of errors exceeded the limit, and it gave up. I presume
this could be because of 1) Dave picking up his phone, 2) Telecom giving
crossed wires. BFN.
