Not exactly an easy email address to spell or remember.  Does it help any
with spam control?  Thanks for the new web-site/email info.  I'll update my
email address book with it later today.  Incidentally, if you were
subscribed to Lordnews list, you would have gotten dropped a good while
back when the old email address stopped working.  So you might consider
resubscribing.  Shannon Talley added authentication but that works really
fast - takes something like 1 minute for his server to send you responses
to the original subscription request (if done via email) or to your
subscription verification message.  Most people will use the HTML form
dialogs on the Castle Camelot Lord Links page I think, since it is easy to
use.

You are welcome for the assistance.  Just remember that most Lord apps
released since 2002 will be listed on my site's lordapps.htm page.  And
anything that isn't listed there, as long as it is recent/current version,
will be on my primary Lord IGMs page.  I remove older version entries after
4-6 months about twice a year from it, since the page is only meant to list
the most current release of an igm.

While I'm thinking about it, to save writing a second message, I just got
started this morning saving JPG snapshot screens of Violet's Cottage 5.30p.
 And I noticed entries - male player, main menu - for Kitchen, Den, and
Bathroom, which I didn't remember existed.  Does anyone know details on the
menu options and what they do for those three sections of the IGM?

Reason I'm asking is two-fold.  First, to update the entry for the igm in
my Belgarion's Lord IGM Play Guides files.  Second is that I will start
coding Violet's Cottage II in a day or so.  I've already got Trevor
Herndon's Love Shack IGM recreated and fully tested, and will be doing that
with Violet's Cottage next.  At present, I am not sure if I will recreate
Castle of LORDs or not.  I do know that since I never used either one very
much, I would not tackle recreating either LORD Pit or Anastasia's
Honeymoon Hotel.  I support Trevor's igms, as to the rte200 patch versions
for him, and decided last year that I would see what could be done to bring
the igms back to life completely.  So I'm doing the igm recreation process
as my tribute to my old friend, Trevor, who I met first something like 7-8
years ago now.

So any information you and others have on the Kitchen, Den, bathroom
features of Violet's Cottage will come in handy.  I also need detailed info
on interaction with IGM by female players, as that part of the igm I am not
as familiar with.  Initially the new igm will have everyone interacting
with Violet and her sisters.  Since I'm not into lesbian programming, when
coded sufficiently to allow easy tweaking, the igm would not have any
romantic dialogue between a woman player and either Violet or her sisters.

And I'm always open to suggestions about how to further improve my existing
igms that I've developed for myself, or do support/development of for Jason
Brown, Mike Ciesiensky, and Chris MacPherson.  Which are

The Gateway, The LORD Cavern, The Outlands Tavern, LordStat, RHP Toolkit;
ChasWare LORD Player Editor;  The Gem Trader, The Nice Hag - which is in
production again, The Forest Outhouse - adopted from Robert Fogt; Ruined
Castle - also back into development; Love Shack II;  The Pawn Shop;
Turgeon's House;  LORD Gambling Casino - adopted from Tobin Fricke.

So if you or anyone else needs help with either of those igms or utilities,
or would like to see something changed in how they operate, please let me
