EVERYTHING here is junk-box. 

I was quite surprized at the array of stuff I manaaged to work on Linux.
Not at ALL deserving of the caution I was reading about. Sure the USB UPS
didn't want to work, but it communicated. PCI modem would have been a tweak
away. Two onboard vids detected fine...
