Indeed! Well put. The Christian cosmology and the depiction of
the post-flood world stresses the order, 'each after it's own
kind', and the inevitability of cause and effect, as in lacking
faith demands damnation.
IMHO, Christian cosmology measures the world with integer math,
when in fact, it is floating point. The measuring system looks
good until you look closely at it. The amount of aggression in
a given individual's genome is approximately estimable, but the
quantity that leads to damnable acts is not determinate; as you
suggest, it is random chaos that reveals it's presence.
