The loonie has been inching up and the buck has been dropping
(and both gov' aren't really unhappy aboot it presently 8-)

I still remember in my salad days when we would be visiting my
Moms folks in Buffalo. We would day trip to the sandier beachs
on the other shore of the Erie. About half way we would stop at
a farm stand for some produce and I would give a lovely young
lady an American dollar for a large glass of cool buttermilk,
and she would give me a Canadian dollar back (I thought Canada
was one of the greatest counties anywhere !-)

I bet JP could tell us what the exchange is today. eh?
