Hi all,
 I have been giving some thought to the current Tax situation, and have
 been trying to come up with a solution. While a number of good ideas
 have been submitted, they all have the fatal(I believe) flaw of
 leaving Washington holding the purse strings. The only long term method
 for reducing the size of the Federal Government is to take the purse
 strings away from Washington. One way I have come up with to do this,
 is to repeal the sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution. This one act
 would return the purse strings to the states, and I promise that if a
 given state thought that they were being asked to pay more than their
 share, they would think nothing of withholding their money, sort of
 like the U.S. and the UN.
