The bus won't be cheap (you'll have meals and so forth) but you're right, the
scenery is great in places. Go through South Dakota if you have a chance,
the "buttes" make great photo opportunities.

I have a buddy that did boot camp twice, he re-enterred the service
after being out for a while.

Play as many of the same model as you can. See if one sounds or plays better
than the other ones. Buy that one.
