Actually, hp/ton affects how fast you get up to speed. Hp/drag sets the top speed.
Which is why the aforementioned Dodge RAM SRT-10 gets 0-60 faster than the
Chrysler Crossfire, but needs over twice as much power to reach the same
top speed.
