I can't imagine Phoenix pulling a carriage.  But, just 6 months ago, I
couldn't imagine riding her.  I have been riding her with my western saddle
that fits her better than my dressag saddle does.  However, I've been
riding her with more English type queing.  I feel more secure in my western
saddle with her.
