Basically, the points were:
        1.  ONLY shoot when your life is in danger.
        2.  Shoot to stop, not to kill.  NEVER say the word "kill."
        3.  After the shooting, call the police, attempt to do SOMETHING
        to aid the person you shot.
        4.  Say as little as possible, and get a lawyer.
        5.  Have liability insurance.

Not at all!!  Remember, you don't KNOW he's dead (and if you do, you
don't admit it).  You behave as if he were alive and would recover --
because the only reason you shot him was to stop his attack on you.
When he ceased his attack, you ceased fire and did all you could to help
him.
You're going to court over this -- and you want people to testify
favorably as to your actions, words and attitude.
