Phil,

I checked it out and what can I say about those slacker Brits ;->

I dunno about the UK, but as a FedEx customer here in the US I have = found
the best way to make sure you get a package on time is to have a =
signature release on file (should be able to do it right off the card =
left at your door). The courier no longer has the "excuse" of
customer = not available. Of course you need to have an area where the
courier can = leave the package that is somewhat secure and the sender can
override = the release. I have had my addresses set up that way for about 8
years = and yet to have a problem.

Came on Thursday - no one in. Left card.
Came on Friday - I was in, but heard nothing and found a card outside.
I phoned depot 30 mles away on Monday - package in depot, would be =
sent for
  12:00am Tuesday.
I phoned depot on Tuesday at 14:30 - "package still in depot".
They came Tuesday at 14:40 - delivered package.
