JC>I wonder if anyone here has noticed that Warp 3.0 identifies itself as JC>OS/2 version 2.30. Does anybody know if this is a bug or a feature? I According to traffic on OS2BBS it is a feature. IBM says several programs would have broken that are looking for osmajor == to 2x. JC>have checked it both under DOS and OS/2 boxes and with the JC>DosQuerySysInfo() API and it always returns the value 20 for major and JC>30 for minor version number. Has this anything to do with NT JC>identifying itself as version 30.xx? Also supposedly true. --Lynn * SLMR 2.1a * Closed captioned in hex for programmers where available. --- DB 1.39/004485* Origin: The Diamond Bar BBS - 909-923-1031 - Ontario, CA (1:218/101) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 SEEN-BY: 711/430 807 808 809 934 942 949 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 218/101 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
