dani is 1.7.0 which is current.  aspirout I'm not sure of the version but
it's a real ancient thing with a date inside the zip file of '97 and a
size about 40% of the beta9 on hobbes.

I've not tried cdrecord2 (yet).  Let's see if the next reboot with the
newer aspirout will help cdrecord to install.
