subject: Back!

Hi, everyone.

After storming out of here last time, I decided to come back anyway because
¨I've written two Telegard-specific utilities (one for the Web) that I
thought ¨some of you might be interested in.

The first is TGCGI, a CGI that shows the last few callers (up to 10) to
your ¨BBS. It's written right now in Pascal and only for OS/2 (since
that's what I ¨use). If you're interested in seeing it, you can check it
out at ¨http://outpostbbs.darktech.org/cgi-bin/recent.cgi. Please note
it's not ¨finished-far from it as I've been sick for a month and just now
getting back up ¨to speed-but there it is.

The second is TGReport, a program that will allow you to view your user
records ¨and create printed reports using various formats. That one's
still under some ¨serious work, but it does dump the entire userbase to a
nice formatted text ¨file.

Both are written in Pascal and if anyone wants the source to TGReport, I'd
be ¨more than happy to share. TGCGI uses some code that I haven't obtained
¨permission to open up yet, but once I do, I'll open that up also.

Oh, Scott-I've been accepted to Eastern Tennessee State University to start
¨working on a bachelor's in information science. Then it's on to
University of ¨Tennessee-Knoxville to get my master's in library science.
The library science ¨field is wide open and is in dire need of people to
fill jobs. Considering the ¨pay, it's a lot more than what I'd be making
working just in computers alone.

The best thing? It's already paid for. :)

If anyone wants to contact me, netmail me (preferred) or email me (in sig).

And yes, the BBS is dialup as well as telnet.

Later,
Sean
