I mean, without using a local SUBST or NET USE on the server, the BBS is on
C: which doesn't work over the network. The only way around it is to make the
BBS think it's running on another drive(s) (X, Y and Z).
Originally someone said that SUBST or NET MAPing local drives it pointless
and an irrelevant argument. However as you see above, and as you stated, I
cannot define any BBS directories as C:, D: etc. as it would not work when
mapped over the network.

MB> Funny Scott.. but even Win95's won't allow you to SUBST a network
 MB> drive as C:
I didn't say it could. I said that is the reason WHY I must use X Y and Z
for my BBS. If I setup my BBS so it would look for it's files in C:\BBS or
whatever, when I then try to access the BBS over the mapped network drive,
it obviously won't find what it's looking for (it looks on C: but the network
is N:).
