I've checked in HEXEDIT, the file I'm trying to copy out to the printer
port. And it definitely contains just text characters.
And when I say tried, I mean hopefully like what you would expect...
I clicked the "disable spooler" menu item and then issued the same copy
commands to see if the spooler was interfering with my efforts. And
disabling the spooler did not help my problem.
