In which way are they integrated into the operating system ? Recently I had
a look on NT's mechanisms for memory mapped files. I've found them sort of

Silicon Graphics Open Graphic Library - seems to be a really mighty
3D-library. Hopefully this will be supported by the upcoming graphics
boards with adequate display drivers. Rumour: ATI has bought half of
Matrox' 3D-development-lab ?!
