I certainly don't wish to get or sound argumentative over this issue,
and yes I am willing and will consult with a well known local avian
doc., however, this is a form of treatment I and several other breeders
have been using for going on 15 years and have NEVER lost one bird as a
result.  I should think that experience is a great teacher.  As for me
tasting the solution, taste has nothing to do with ones size.  If the
solution is palatable then it is more likely to be ingested with out
negative results. That is the reason for my taste test.  Wishing you and
