The thing with that is, whatever virtual column Syncterm is doing, doesn't seem
to work the same with Mystic, as it does with Synchronet. Is Synchronet
possibly communicating with the terminal in order to actually *use* this
virtual column when displaying an ansi whereas Mystic isn't?

That explains a lot I suppose. I just don't remember any of this happening, or
having to do anything extra in the old days in regards to displaying an ansi
like that (pre-Mystic I'm referring to).

In the terminal program. I guess I should have been more specific. Not really
disabling, but just turning it off with an ALT sequence, is all.
