Yes, Tag can use a Hudson or Jam base.

You can use any hudson tosser, fmail or Geco for it.

I've not played with that one. You'll need to run Tag's nodelist compiler

when you update it,

to get the indexes for tag. I think it's called nlindex, if I remember

right.

THe board I help run was using Tag for awhile. We switched him to maximus

recently.

I don't know much about Geco, but there are folks using it here.

YOu still might want to dig you up a copy of squish.

YOu can use it since you're using fido original *.msg bases,

but going to hudson or jam bases would save you some disk space.

*.msg is rather disk intensive.

I'm wondering if you're using the proper verbs for BInkley.cfg for emsi,

such as pickupall, etc.

It sounds to me like more of your problems are in your message packer than

Binkley problems.

Maybe somebody who uses Geco with Binkley can give you some help.

I"m not familiar with it.

We used fmail and squish with Binkley and our tag board. If you can stay

with *.msg, try out squish.

You can find a copy mjust about anywhere.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

REgards,

Richard
