IBM's are generally named IBMDOS.COM and IBMBIO.COM whereas others are simply IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS... i also know that the bootsector loader looks specifically for one set, either the IBM stuff or the other but not both... if you have a disk that has been sys'd with the IBM stuff and you remove the IBM*.COM files and put IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS in their place, it won't boot... )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 3634/12 106/2000 633/267 |
