Not yet. I'm waiting until the first of the year to do a semi-annual exam. I'll be
dealing with it then. Right now, it's Tylenol, and it doesn't help much.

I've been checked for H. Pylori and that's a negative. They are concerned
about Barrett's though. I'll find out on the 2nd whether the espophageal
biopsy is pre-c
or not (crossing fingers/knocking wood/throwing salt).

And, yes, like much of the pop., I have a hiatal hernia.

As I said to Nancy, they'll have to pry the Pepsi from my cold, dead fingers. De-
caff though. I'd even give up beer (but that's a close one).


And one other thing. It seems that virtually *none* of this "common
knowledge" has
been studied in any formal way. Some of it just "seems" to work.
H. Pylori, mint,
and caffeine have been studied somewhat. Even there, there is some difference of
opinion on caffeine.
