That was it Ralph! There was one message, which was indeed
SPAM. I've never had this happen before, so hopefully it
will help someone else out.

I used my web-base interface to delete the message and then
fired up PMmail.......45 messages later, all is well.

Big thanks to EVERYONE who tried to help, and your
incredibly fast responses. Like most of you, I feel
naked without email :)
