The problem is a V42 bug, so that won't help.  Also the problem appears to
be in the Spirit.  Could you try dialling the Sentry's Shadow to see if you
get the same problem on a download (can you do 3 tests, ie 3 separate
calls, preferably on different days).  I am interested in the results.

The problem can be circumvented by pressing Pause, waiting 10-15 seconds,
then pressing Ctrl-+.  Do *NOT* try this out on Sentry's Shadow, as I'd
like the 50% transfer rate to get recorded in his log.  Thanks + bye.
